Commercial Use License — Sell Finished Pieces Made From My Patterns
This license grants permission to sew and sell ''finished, physical items'' made from ''one (1)'' of my sewing patterns. Choose your tier above based on how many finished pieces you plan to sell over the year.
Tiers:
- Up to 50 pieces/year — €15
- Up to 150 pieces/year — €25
- Up to 500 pieces/year — €40
What this license covers:
- Selling finished, handmade garments/items made using the pattern (in person, at markets, on your own shop, Etsy, etc.)
- Small batch or made-to-order production, up to your chosen tier's yearly limit
What this license does NOT cover:
- Selling or sharing the pattern file itself, in original or modified form
- Mass production, factory production, or outsourcing sewing to a third party
- Use of my name, brand, or pattern images in a way that implies partnership or endorsement beyond credit
How to purchase:
1. Select your tier from the dropdown above.
2. At checkout, in the notes field, tell me which pattern this license is for (name + the *order number* from your pattern purchase, whether from Etsy or this shop) and your shop/business name.
3. I'll confirm the license by email within 1–2 business days.
Required credit:
Every listing, tag, or product description for items made with this pattern must credit the pattern designer, e.g. "Made using the [Pattern Name] pattern by Ita Sewing Patterns", with a link to my Shopify shop: www.itasewingpatterns.com.
Duration:
This license is valid for one full year from the date of purchase, running from that exact purchase date to the same date the following year. Your piece allowance applies across the full year and does not reset monthly. To continue commercial production after the year ends, the license must be repurchased.
Only one pattern per license:
This license covers a single pattern. If you'd like to sell finished pieces from more than one pattern, please purchase a separate license for each.
If you go over your yearly limit:
Please reach out you can upgrade to a higher tier, or purchase overage pieces at €[X] each. I'd rather work it out with you than cancel your license.
